About it
Most of the fur on your sofa started as loose undercoat. A couple of gentle sessions a week with a two-sided rake removes it before it sheds around the house.
Use the wider-spaced side first, then the finer side. Go with the direction of the coat, keep sessions short, and stop if your pet's skin looks irritated.

How often should I use it?
Two or three short sessions a week during heavy shedding is plenty. Overuse can irritate skin.
Will it cut mats out?
It can loosen small tangles. Tight mats should be handled by a professional groomer.
